  • Let's Make Disciples of the Nations (Mt. 28:18-20)

“This is the confidence we have before him:

If we ask anything according to his will

    he hears us.

And if we know that he hears whatever we ask, we know that we have what we have asked of him.”

    1 John 5:14-15 CSB

Please "ask" that we make disciples of the 96 nations listed here

  • Pray for NEW Connections

Over the Winter Break, we will attempt to connect a family with each new international student coming to Clemson. Please pray with us that God will supply enough families to care for all of the students requesting the connection. Also pray that God will clearly reveal Himself to students through the sharing our lives and support during their time with us.

  • Asking for your prayers

    In the Bible, Paul says

“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.”
    ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭4:2-3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I praise the Lord that I am not “in chains” as Paul was. However, I would ask that you devote some time to prayer “And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ,” that is the Gospel.

Local church members, I believe that God wants to “open a door” into students’ hearts through our kindness and care for the new international students as they arrive each July/August and December/January. Would you join me in praying that many of the families from our local churches would choose to open themselves to care for one or two. We have an opportunity to connect them to a student(s) who are preparing to come. Making this connection before they come can be a huge comfort to the student and allow us to prepare individualized care and support.

  • Join a Prayer team

We desire that prayer be lifted up on behalf of Friends Of Internationals as a ministry, as well as for individual "Friends of Internationals," and especially for the international students themselves. We see this happening as friends pray together regularly. We desire the formation of many small prayer teams. Please use the link to email and let us know that you would like to form or join a prayer team.

  • More to come

We intend to keep this page updated with current prayer requests. Please check back when you have an opportunity.
